		As men are born, so are their dreams...! And so the journey began… Antonio dos Santos Pereira was born in the beautiful village of Faial on the scenic Island of Madeira. As a young man in 1974, he immigrated to Canada, with all his hopes & dreams inside his suitcase.

As a young immigrant away from his beloved homeland, Mr. Pereira worked hard to make his dreams come true. Providing for his wife and family, son Mike & daughter Nancy this Portuguese native never closed the door to his hopes & dreams

So after many years of devoted hard work in a factory that specialized in building construction items, Mr. Pereira & his wife Maria Natividade Pereira saved as much as they could to open their own business. Finally in the year 2000 the Pereira’s opened up shop in Brampton and saw their dream become reality.

And so it was born Churrasqueira Nova Esperanca, yes indeed the proper name for someone that never gave up hope.
This family owned and operated chicken pit has become one of Brampton’s favourite hangouts for the most delicious chicken and othePortuguese dishes.
Great flavours married with ervice make this a five ***** choice!
